Heck no... No offence to any US peeps but... it's sort of typical of the US/Hollywood film industry to do something like that, to be honest... take something wonderfully British and try to change it... and RD isn't the only thing that's suffered... Anyone here a Thunderbirds fan? I love the original series, it's so camp and funny... but I'm not going to be seeing the movie version... no real wonder why, huh?

I actually quite fancy seeing that, and maybe Hollywood couldn't help using different actors, maybe the puppets weren't availiable or something... then again, maybe not!

LOL! Well I think being a fan of the original series doesn't help the movie's cause for me I loved the puppets, they were great! My favourite was Virgil Thunderbird 2 rocked *ahem* anyway. I spose it's all down to taste, but personally... I think it looks like Spy Kids 4... then again ... age might be a factor as well - the younger generation might love it.. whereas fans of the original will think it sucks... Kinda like the Garfield movie... heh...

I haven't seen that, but it's supposed to be plotless. Which is kind of a big hole for a film... Lol!
Thunderbirds looks Ok, but not brill. I haven't really seen enough of the original series to make a legitimate comment. Spiderman 1 and 2 were excellent, though. As a remake of an existing story they were amazing. I suppose though, being younger, I'm used to more modern graphics and higher quality picture and sounds, so old classics are slightly different for me. Love Bagpuss, though. And Button Moon. The Clangers are cool too. And I love Andy Pandy! But Button Moon's definately my favourite.

I like a mixture of things, really... I have a rather diverse taste in things... I like modern things... love the effects, like in Harry Potter, but what I don't like is a movie that's based only on it's effects, and not on plotline... I've never been a fan of comic book heroes so Spiderman is not for me at all... I saw the XMen movie and I didn't take to that either... so... it's all down to taste, really... What annoys me about the Garfield movie is the cast, more than anything else... I can't stand Jennifer Love Hewitt so that doesn't do it any favours... To me personally I think they should have CGI-d the whole thing, so that the characters looked more like their comic/cartoon counterparts, that would have been cool... Sort of like Toy Story, where the humans were like that as well as the toys... Bill Murray was a good choice for Garfield's voice though... but the rest... ack...

Nothing wrong with being a Christian. I'm proud to be one. Life was terrible before I became one. It's dandy now. I don't actually remember not being one, I was kinda brought up as one. But it can be difficult when you're a teen. Like, I've got badges on my bag like the anacist sighn, but I've also got 2 Christian ones aswell, and today 2 of my mates were going on about they saw this t-shirt that they liked saying that Jesus is the c word, then saying that on my smiley badge with "Smile, Jesus loves you" on it, they were going to tippex out the "loves you" bit and put "is a c*..." Then kept picking on me. I made up with one of them, but the other one didn't even say sorry... Sorry to moan on!
