Of corse! He's just such a lovable Smeg-head oh! my friend wanted to know the definition of "Smeg-head" so looked it up on a British Slang Dictionary...Oh, my Bob! it gives a brief def. followed by "Watch Red Dwarf, a British sit-com, for the humorous usage." Lol

Oh my god! Classic It's got kind of a ... rude-ish meaning... actually... Um... I'll say no more... But have you got the DVDs? I think it's on the 2nd season one, special features, where they show a convention, and someone asks Craig Charles what "smeg" means, and Craig makes a face then crawls off the stage as though he's embarrassed, it was pretty funny

I voted for Lister cause he is very similar to me, which sounds very strange, doesn't it? I like all of them, though. I only remember seeing series 1 (my dvd came on Friday, yey!) and "Parallel Universe" in series 2, cause RD finished when I was 7. Rimmer has the best lines in series 1, though, and Cat's funny, but his part isn't that big. From what I remember of Kryten, he was good too. Holly's cool, but I don't know much about Krissie. Smeghead, Goit and Gimboid were all made for RD, weren't they?

LOL I think so... I'm still yet to know where goit and gimboid were actually derived from... then I can use them in everyday use ;D

My favourite character has to be Rimmer, he is totally hillarious! He is a pathetic spineless twirp that nobody likes, the poor guy. This is what makes him an excellent character. Nothing ever goes his way, and it all blows up in his face, due to his really bad luck. He reminds me of a friend of mine, who always has bad luck all the time lol! I think it's great that Rimmer in another dimension (Ace Rimmer) is the total oposite to him, with all the looks, charms, braveness, and popularity, whereas the Rimmer aboard Red Dwarf is a Spineless dweeb of a coward, who is extremely unlucky and unpopular. Chris Barrie carries out the role amazingly, he is a very talented actor.

Hey, Ace Rimmer is a character in his own right and should be listed in the poll !!!
The Character of Rimmer is vital to Red Dwarf - I think it went down hill a bit when he left.

Lol! The only Ace Rimmer thing I've seen is in the A-Z when he's on the crocodile and stuff, and I actually didn't really like it, but I guess I'll just have to se the episode!
