Hows this for abusing powers: I was posting on the Kingdom hearts 2 forum. (a playstation game for those who have never heard of it) and there was a thread about the two main male characters being gay and stuff. Kind of dodgy fan fiction. I posted to say that maybe the thread isn't appropraite since there are like 11-12 year old kids on the forum. My post was deleted once. I posted again, and again it was deleted....I posted one more time asking what was happening to my post and I got suspended! It's really annoying when some 13 year old moderator has been given power by admin because they're responsible but it just goes to their head. That is really irritating... that's why I tend to not let someone be a Global Mod or co-Admin unless I know that I can trust them... I'm like that with Mods at my other boards as well, but it's different here because there are less members...

Well my account is up and running again but I'm not bothering to email again. I emailed once but got no reply so either they don't care or the mod has fed him lies. I could see the point if I posted spam or whatever but 99% of my posts on that forum was me giving other gamers tips on how to beat the game in the help section.

I think I must be the only one who read them before applying! No way! I did! We're not all like that. Well, not often... really... Well said!

That sucks... maybe you should leave that board, I know I wouldn't want to be a member of a place like that, it's frustrating...

I have, but not without sending admin an email telling them that maybe he should pick his mods based on maturity rather than post count.

I have, but not without sending admin an email telling them that maybe he should pick his mods based on maturity rather than post count. Yeah, that's what I base my choices on mostly... Especially in the case of Global Mods - I just made the decision to make 2 other members at my Sailor Mercury board GMods (now there are 5) ... basing the decision on maturity, of course, but also the posts they actually make, as in, they actually contribute something to the board... I don't necessarily take post count into account (hehe)... because a lot of the members over there have only reached their count by spamming or posting soley in the RPG section rather than anywhere else... But that's over there... things are a lot different over here

Nah mods here don't absue their position. mainly cos like SE said, there aren't that many people to watch (yet) but that's beside the point. He appoints mods and lets them run riot. Like the kingdom hearts SS

That's annoying... I'd never let my Mods "run riot"... if any of them did... they would lose their role as Mod...
