Hi there everyone, I'm a newbie, please be gentle. I'll open by asking for your help It's my sister's Halloween/Birthday night this weekend (short notice, I know.. ) and she insists we all dress up. I don't want to be a witch, or a vampire, a ghost, goblin or cat, I want to fulfill a long term fantasy to dress up as Rimmer! Specifically as Rimmer in season 5's Quarantine in his ever so stylish red gingham dress. Now organising a Mr. Flibble is the easy bit, but does anyone know where I can buy a ready made outfit (I have the army boots ) *and* get it quickly? I have had a very brief snoop around google with no luck, however it was brief, it's how I found this forum though. I did contemplate digging out my needle and thread, but I don't think my sewing skills are upto it, never mind running out of time. Ah, one more thing, I live in the middle of the middle of nowhere, so really i'd have to buy online. Oh, obviously .. the cheaper the better at the moment, unfortunately I don't get paid until next week. Thankyou in advance if anyone can help! Otherwise I'll be digging out my wenches dress ..again Mispon.

Er yeah, I dunno, heh! Have you looked in second hand dress shops? Or do you know a dressmaker who could whip one up for you?
Otherwise I'm not sure what to suggest... Ebay, perhaps?

Thankyou for your replys. I'll sort it out for next year methinks, I did try Ebay, there were some things I could have modified, but the time contraints again, ah well. Had a good night anyway, and was spared having to explain my costume to all the non-dwarf fans I suppose. *shrug* Might even make my own Mr. Flibble, try and rig it so the eye's will glow red at the press of a button too. ;D Happy Halloween..

Ooh that idea for Mr Flibble sounds really cool ;D At least you'll have more time to find stuff if you leave it for a year

Hmm...I think my life ambition is to wander around Exeter High Street dressed up in a large Mr. Flibble penguin suit and scare all the tourists whilst playing my banjo.
Don't worry, I'm being sedated for that last sentence right NOW...
