Lol! The only thing I don't like about England is the weather. Summer is OK, but winter is horrible! You ever been? It's getting hotter now, but not fast enough!

LOL I don't like the cold either... but on the flipside I can't stand overly hot weather... I think 25 degrees C is fine for me Australia went through a bit of a heat wave over the past few weeks or so... ooooh man that was bad... LOL It's better now though, thank god... well for my state it is anyway

I've been to Cape Town in South Africa twice and once we had a 3 day heatwave. It was really nice!

I've never been to England, but I want to someday (a friend and I are thinking about saving up and going after college). But the weather's not to great over here either (i live in Wisconsin, and i'm sure you've all heard about Wisconsinites and cold weather ) right now we've hit a warm streak of about 45-55 degrees F that's what? about 7-13 degrees C? so that's nice, one can walk around outside with only a light jacket, i hope it stays (Spring is near ^_^ )

Nope, never heard of Wisconsin. Which part of England are you planning to visit?

well, "when and if" I do, I'd like to visit mainly the Essex area, I have some friends from other message boards that I'd like to visit, that live in or around Essex, but I'd also love to go to Stratford-upon-Avon, London, and various other locals. Any other suggestions?

Well, if you want to go somewhere warmish then the North isn't good. I live in the North-west and it's mostly mild, but in winter it's freezing. Though our good old Chester has some nice attractions. The Isle of White is nice. Wales is rainy. Portsmouth has lots of boats in the port ("No!" you all gasp). Liverpool is good for shops and muesems. Hope that helps! I havn't been around much England, if you want to know the truth. Near me we have an Ice Cream Factory, and a Candle Muesem where you can make your own candles, which is reasonably fun for a day out. Stuff like that. Loads of castles, but they're mostly the same. Don't ask me about the countryside coz I avoid it as much as poss!

Ooh! Go to Alton Towers too! They have great rides! I'm travelling Europe this year: French exchange; the Lake District; and Spain to see my Nan. Then we're going to Portsmouth. I'm not even rich! And my Mum's going to Italy. I'm not boasting, honest!

I wanna go to Scotland too... That'd be cool ;D Woo! I live here! Tis cold. it's weird cos I really wanna go to Oz. I have family over there. Not sure where since I've only seen them once in my life. But, if you do go to England, like April said, you must visit Alton Towers. It's the best theme park ever! the Haunted House is class.

I haven't been in the Haunted Mansion, but I'm going to Alton Towers with my school next week. We did last year too, and the first ride I went on was Hex. Freaky! Have you seen the phone by the Haunted Mansion? I refused to use it! I'm a wuss.

I can't say I noticed it to be honest. But go on the haunted mansion ride. I loved it. Wanted to go on it loads of times but the queues are far too long. I was too scared for Nemesis or Oblivion. I tend to stick to the water rides and souvenier shops! ;D

Lol! But Oblivion was great! You have to go on it. I'm probably going on Nemesis this time, but the que might be too long. Hopefully Air too. Did you go on the Corkscrew? It's supposed to be horrible, but one of my mates wants me to go on it with her.
