Alot of fans talk about the fact that Lister has had his appendix removed twice. In the episode "Stasis Leak" in series 2, Lister talks about when he onced had his appendix removed. And later in series 6, in the episode "Legion", Lister has his appendix removed again, this time by Legion. Anyone else notice this?

I only recall when Lister gives Rimmer a bit of his memory, Rimmer says,
"That's why I had my appendix out...twice"

They have loads of errors like that. If we made a thread it would be endless, but we still love it! Doug Naylor said in an interview that he doesn't care about continuum errors or whatever they are.

Another continuation error is that Lister was telling Rimmer in an early episode how his dad died, but later on in the series, Lister doesn't even know who his parents were!

Oh, and another....... Early on in the series, Lister never dated Kochanski, but always wanted to. Then, later on in the series, Lister would talk about when he used to date her.

Of course though, these errors don't bother me. Stuff like that wouldn't ruin an amazing show like Red Dwarf! ;D

They don't bother me either. The imperfections are what make the show so unserius and cool. Plus all those imperfect moments are made up by Rimmer's sheer perfection! ;D

Another continuation error is that Lister was telling Rimmer in an early episode how his dad died, but later on in the series, Lister doesn't even know who his parents were! Actually, he was talking about his step-dad then. He was the one who raised him, then when he died, his step-dad's mother (Lister's step-grandmother) raised him.

Yes, but he calls his step-dad "Dad" because he was the one who raised him.
