I know it's sad to get philosophical, but I thinnk that's all that's wrong with Rimmer. I mean, when Lister gives him Lise Yates, he was a totally different guy. I just think the poor lamb's deprived.

LOL and being hologram for that amount of time probably didn't help matters, but after he got the hard light things might have been better... You're right, Rimmer just needs hugs and love... << 4 Rimmer ;D

Ooh, rude! I'm not really so naive or however you spell it. I was ruder 2 years ago than I am now! I suppose it's just maturity, but my sister's nothing like I was then.

I don't swear at all, but my friends do it all the time. It's just annoying when I really want to say a word which I can't.

Aah yeah...
I still swear, LOL, but not as much as I used to. It's now more of an "out of anger" or exclamation type of thing... I don't swear in front of my co-workers though, LOL... although they say "sh!t" from time to time...

There's an excess in mostly the f & s words at my school. I don't really mind mild swear words used at/near me, but some really strong language does offend me. I don't like filthy words. I sound so old! But Red Dwarf wouldn't work if they didn't swear. I still say 'smeg'!

LOL yeah but with RD they don't use anything worse than bastard or smeg, which aren't really that bad by today's standards. I'm probably a bit hypocritical saying excessing swearing offends me, when I watch shows like Stella Street and the number of times they use the F word... yikes! LOL! But that's funny though, that doesn't offend me because the swearing makes it even funnier... weird huh? I HATE the "C" word though, I totally draw the line at that. It just sounds so disgusting. If I hear anyone use it I give them a really angry look...

Ugh, yeah, I think it just sounds filthy, but I only learnt it a few months ago! Though The Darkness use it in one of their songs... eh, I'm not even alowed to listen to it.

Arnold Judas Rimmer is the best one of course, without question or reason. I do agree that if he'd been shown love, human compassion, from a young age, he'd be far more loving and calm. He needs nurturing. A sensitive soul to tame his tortured being. He's got it in him.
