How did you find out what version yours is? Mine just says PowerDVD. Hey, if you can't find the menu, just press "C" then look in your pictures to see if they're there. They should be right at the bottem and the file names should be PDVD_001 ect.

You right click anywhere on the PowerDVD screen & a menu will pop up. If you click 'About' then it'll tell you what version it is...& I tried pressing C...sadly it didn't work.

Version 4.0 for me. Try double clicking to see if a golden thing comes up that says on it CyberLinkTM.

Bah! That means I have no hope of getting that version, as mine is a later version than yours. I had a suspicion that was the case as most video file players have screencapping disabled for copyright reasons.

I repeate Confused confused AH! We are talking about a program used on a computer (you may or may not know what one of these are - look for a TV type thing with a tray of letters underneath). The program is called PowerDVD & you can watch DVDs (shiny metal flat round thingy) or video files on it. One version allows you to copy still images when you play a DVD. This is known as screen capture, or screencapping or capping. The version I have on my TV type thing with the tray of letters underneath, doesn't allow me to do screen capture. I wanted to see if I was doing something wrong, or if the version of the program was different to the one that Captain Emerald was using. We have discovered that if I want to do screen captures, I have the wrong version. Yours ever so explainingly, [glow=red,2,300] .¸¸,ø¤º°*»Ruth«*°º¤ø,¸¸.[/glow]
