I had this argument with my mum about Brittas becuae i didnt think it had been a success ((no please don't pelt me with rotten fruit yet)) so yesterday she made me sit and watch it and i can't believe i never watched it before it was so funny,i was practically crying with laughter.

Brittas pulled in an average of 8 million viewers each week-a great viewing in those days. Red Dwarf in it's peak pulled in (I think) about 6 million.
I think Brittas would have gotten more recognition had Chris not been so well known for Dwarf. He's apparently very surprised when people hand him a Brittas thing to sign instead of something to do with RD.
I have series 1-5 sitting in my DVD unit so far. next one is out in feb! just wait til you get to series 5. *thinks about it and faints*

Yuppers, I've got series 1-5 as well, and 6 is on pre-order  I got into the show after getting into RD. Because Rimmer was my favourite character, I started to like Chris as well, and I wanted to see what else he had been in. I went out on a bit of a limb with Brittas, but I had heard it was really good, and I was interested, so I bought series 1 from sendit.com (formerly known as Blackstar), and I loved it And now I've seen up to series 5 I can't wait for series 6 |

Hehe, that was so funny! And when she comes on for real he tries to rush to the point! Yesterday I went and got Series 4 and 5, I had to reserve 3 becasue they were just oordering it, and I watched it for 6 and a half straight hours! The last one of Series 4 was brill!

I was really sad when he gets fired and the music plays in the bckground...it's one of my favourite classical pieces so i was snivelling. And when he sits with Helen in the kennel. Ah I wish that was me.

darn it i wanna see that... i need to get the dvds now *goes and searches* i've only seen the one where Julie gives birth, the one where Mr Brittas gets shot the pne with the shark in the ppol and another one that i can't remember.
