Ok, no one laugh... I dig classical and film scores...GREAT to listen to on the CD/PC when Im sketching or inking comics, or doin' stuff on the PC... I know, I know...probably pretty odd to most folks here... K No not odd at all, because I love movie/TV show soundtracks that feature orchestral scores as well My favourites have to be the Harry Potter soundtracks (particularly Prisoner of Azkaban), and the Buffy & Angel scores... I recently bought the Angel soundtrack from the UK (coz it's not available anywhere else, it seems), and I love it, it's amazing...

That's not odd, coz I went to see the Hallé Orchestra last year. Ok, they were doing Sci Fi night and I only went coz they were doing the premier of the RD score, but I really enjoyed it. Most of the movie themes they did weren't actually sci fi, like Indiana Jones, lol.

My fave scores are done by John Barry, John Williams, and the late James Horner...anything that has a sweeping, majestic or grandeouse scale to it is great to listen to for inspiration when doing 'action comic art'... Yes... definitely... I like to listen to it when I'm writing my fan-fics and stuff, hehe... I like the theme from Star Trek: The Next Generation as well (well I suppose that should be Star Trek The Motion Picture - but yeah...)

Definitely I'm glad the TNG series adopted that as their theme as well, it's really uplifting... The TOS one is just camp, but it's still good Voyager's not too bad either... but the one Enterprise had for a while... LOL well anyway

Ooh, couldn't pick just one! I love Brighton Rock, In The Lap of the Gods (Revisited), Hammer to Fall and Liar, but they're just some of my faves. Ooh, and my favourite vid is It's a Hard Life, and I Want to Break Free, which is my avvy. Did you get the Q Queen special? Apparently Don't Stop Me Now has a very... different meaning.

Cool! ;D I got it on DVD for my birthday. The best bits are definitley Love of My Life and the original rock 'n' roll covers, like (You're So Square) Baby I Don't Care, Hello May Lou and Tutti Frutti.
I went to a gig last night to see a local band called The Wayriders. They're rather good. We know the sister of one of the guys in the band. They've toured the states and everything, so I think they're worth checking out. They play kinda west-coast punk/jazz, lol.
