No, I think the "hate" or such was inevitable at first, but she's definitely grown on me alot, especially since that Human Nature episode when The Doctor was getting reet on my nerves! I like her alot more now, but still not as much as Rose, though I have heard from a few people that they like her even more!!

Yeah, same. I thought I would detest her but she proved me wrong first episode. I know people who still refuse to like her, (Mainstream TenRose fans) but I can adjust. If the Doctor regenerates anytime soon it WILL take me a while to get used to...

Same, but I'm pretty sure DT realises how popular he is and how good he's got it at the moment, so I hope he sticks around, he seems to enjoy what he's doing.

Lol, he loves it. I read far too much into things. Apparently he wrote an essay when he was younger about how when he grew up he wanted to play the Doctor. And lol, apparently Rose is also coming back sometime too...though that's just a rumour. David and Billie are really cute together...Freema has a habit of sucking up to him. I think the amount of cheers and screams he got on Parkinson proves the point of his popularity And there's no CHANCE of being typecast. He's done lots of other programs on top of Doctor Who and it's made him a versatile actor. Which is good. Which means he'll stay. ...I reason.

I really wasn't expecting what happened last night, it was a pretty good finale, but still not a patch on Doomsday. And Captain Jack's "secret identity" was pretty too. Weird though. I've got some issues with the whole FOB thing anyway, but it was interesting. I wonder if Jack'll be back? And is Kylie taking the same sort of role that Catherine Tate did last year? It would be funny if she played herself, but considering the Titanic thing I doubt that she will. Though, a year on, and we're still pining for Rose.

I find it amusing you're talking about the last episode... I've only just seen the first LOL! I liked Martha though, she seems pretty cool so far. Time will tell I spose. I never liked Rose though so I guess it's easier for me to like someone different.

I think I'll always be a bit bias towards Rose. I found Martha a little bit whingey (sp?) to begin with, but she certainly grew up towards the end. I found Rose a bit more consistent I suppose, and the Doctor/Rose relationship felt very real. Martha's pining after The Doctor was a bit annoying, but who can blame her, eh? I'm just waiting for them to create a companion that doesn't fall in love with The Doctor. What an original idea that would be.

They must be joking. Catherine Tate? Again?! I don't think anyone was expecting that. Though I'm not as pessimistic as most of the DigitalSpy lot.

I saw that on LJ - Eeep... Was she really their only choice? How about some fresh blood here people! A male for a change! Or a male and female - two companions. Then the lovey dovey bleh can be between them Or the crazy idea my b/f and I had, hehehe..... Julian Rhind Tutt as the Doctor with Jessica Stevenson (yes I'm aware she's changed her name now but that makes it easier for me to remember) and Martin Freeman as his companions

Yeah... but I came up with that idea before the episode aired (and even longer before it gets its backside airing here, yeesh!) Back in 2006 actually, heh! JRT would be such a cool Doc... Mac style, with the coolness, dry wit and humour, but the right amount of intensity and emotion when need be. And not bouncing off the walls like a kid who's been into the red cordial Soz, I find myself getting a little irritated by "Ten's" over the topness at times...
