I'm seeing this with my little brother tomorrow. Anyone else seen it? I only want to see it coz it's got Steve Coogan in it. Has anyone seen The Parole Officer? That is most probably my favourite film.

I've heard about this... I'm not sure if I'll see it though. I like the story and have read the book, and I saw the older movie version with David Niven, and from what I can remember I liked that... but with the state all these remakes that keep being made are in, eeesh, ya know? They're just stupid... and Jackie Chan's in this new one isn't he? Oh boy LOL I have nothing against the man personally, in fact I thought Rush Hour was hilarious, but... Argh! Why do people have to keep remaking classics and making them rubbish?

Seen it now - great, but v. cheesy! Steve Coogan = ahhh!!! Jackie Chan was actually rather funny. My brother loved it coz of all the fight scenes, but I don't think he found any of the jokes funny. I did, but I don't think they were very well recieved by the audience. Arnold Swatshisface looked just like my old headmisstress in that wig! That French girl in it was good to, but I didn't like her for obviouse reasons. Plus she looked a bit like Beverly Callard. I did enjoy the film, but one of the major bad decisions they made was casting two lead roles to people who's first language was not English, so some of it was unaudiable. Still, I suppose they had to do it. I give this film: 8/10.

I haven't seen it yet myself, but expect to eventually - it looks like cheese on toast which has been dipped in cheese sauce, sprinkled with grated cheddar, deep fried & then presented with a Philadelphia cheese dip on the side...
...but I like cheese.

I would have cringed too, but I was too distracted by SC. I did cringe, however, when he was dressed as a woman and pulling strange faces. Hmm.... ;D
