I was at the best gig of my life last night....MACHINE HEAD!!!!! Dunno how many metal fans are on here (if any) so I won't bore with details. Not much point if you don't know who I'm on about.
All I wanna say is that the guitarist is lovely, and I got a good pic of him. He walked past me 3 times at the back of the venue. I got to the front for the gig starting and he was at opposite side of stage. Half way through he swapped sides and was kinda in front of me (I had te speakers in front of me so he was a bit hidden) but he came round so folk could get a picture. I got my phone out and went to camera but he was walking away. I must looked quite puppy-eyed cos he came back, smiled and leaned over stage with his guitar so I got a really good photo!!
Uploaded it earlier along wih a few others to show my internet pals who like the band.

Cool! I don't mind metal, depends who it is. I'm going to see The Darkness tomorrow! Did you take a banner, Rimmsey? I'm making a Dan one but I can't print out any colour pics. I wrote his name especially in Darkness font, that I traced from my poster. It's really good! I think I've heard of Machine Head, dunno.

A banner?! Noooo..... Seriously, I've been to a lot of gigs, all different genres like metal, rock, pop and I've never seen anyone with a banner.
I guess you haven't been to a metal gig before huh? What happenes is, well, everyone fights the person nearest to them. People shove each other. if they fall the get trampled on. It's one big let out of agression. Anyone with a banner would get ripped apart. But, that's metal. It's hard, agressive music. I don't fight though. I was at the front. No space to fight there.

That would rock! Xenia loves Linkin Park. She was laughing at me and Lintu coz they beat The Darkness and The Rasmus in the MTV Europe Music Awards.
