Or a multi-regional one, heh I thought most of them were nowadays, mine is  What kind do you have and how old is it? It might actually be multi-regional already, or you might be able to find a patch for it online  |

lol! Rimmsey, I hope Santa brings it to you! As to my dvd player, it's a Samsung DVD/VCR, and not very old, we bought it this year. It's only region 4 though. I have no idea where to get the patches or how they work, though.  |

Are you sure it's only R4? Have you tested another Regional DVD on it to check? I was told that mine needed a patch to work, but when we tested a Region 1 DVD on it, it worked perfectly...
To find a 'patch' just go to Google or something and type in 'DVD player patches', and maybe put in the exact type of player you have, and see if you can find anything... Or you might be able to take it to a place that sells DVDs (or the place you got it from originally) to ask if they'd know specifically if it's multi-regional or not, and if they know where to find a patch for it, they can tell you ...

In that case it'll most likely only play Region 2 then You can get a chip or something put into them to make them multi-regional, but I dunno about that... I heard it "voids" the guarantee or something, coz it has to be taken apart... |

Guess what I got *dances* I got series 4 and 5!!! Why do they have to show some lucky sod kissing Chris? Soooo not fair. I meanm Mrs brittas is so nasty to him and she gets to kiss him and then jump on him  . I know he's annoying but if he was my husband I'd be cuddling him and making him feel loved all the time. |
