Has anyone else read this? It's sooo funny! I'm half way through the second one. What do you think?

That's a Douglas Adams novel isn't it? My friend has read it and loves it. I'll have to read it some day.

I used to be on the team that ran the H2G2 Appreciation Society. Looking very much forward to the film, but other than the books there are also the original radio shows, the new radio shows, the audio novels & the TV show (on DVD). Check it out - sf comedy that predates Red Dwarf Yay for Zaphod! Yours grinningly, [glow=red,2,300] .¸¸,ø¤º°*»Ruth«*°º¤ø,¸¸.[/glow]

I used to be on the team that ran the H2G2 Appreciation Society. Cool! Looking very much forward to the film, but other than the books there are also the original radio shows, the new radio shows, the audio novels & the TV show (on DVD). In my book there's an introduction by the late Douglas Adams explaining the differences (kind of) between them all. It's very interesting to read. Cheer for me - I'm on the last book! See, see the moody sky Marvel at its big pink depths. Tell me, abi do you Wonder why the spider ignores you? Why its foobly stare makes you feel groggy. I can tell you, it is Worried by your flobbadobblibblobbleeb facial growth That looks like A squirty cream. What's more, it knows Your hairbrush potting shed Smells of cheese. Everything under the big moody sky Asks why, why do you even bother? You only charm cheeses.--

If you like Douglas Adams you Must read Terry Pratchett! As good, if not better. *ducks* Very easy to read, and you will literally laugh out loud thoughout the entire book. He has a number out there, and there is no need to read them in any order, though it's not a bad idea to. You understand the history of the characters more. Good stuff!!
Also cannot wait for the new movie, the old one is classic but just does not do the book justice. Question is can they get it right?

It's Ok so far... I doubt the movie shall be anywhere near as good as the book. They never are. V. good! ;D
